When Betting, Never Bet Actual Money
Unless you live under a rock you know that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are playing their second sold out show this week at the Bear Tooth Theatre. Now, I guess I do live under a rock because I don't really know who they are but I sure did find out this afternoon.
While have a leisurely lunch at Snow City Cafe today a very dapper and yummy looking man walked by. I made some silly comment that he must be from Paris or something and my brother chimes in, "I bet you $50 bucks he is with Edward Sharpe."
When I realized my brother was going to go introduce himself to find out I decided to take his wager, but instead of $50 bucks I bet 3 beers at tonight's show.
Well, yes, this hot piece is with Edward Sharpe. The band must be a bit camera shy - not many head shots of this very intriguing 10 - 13 piece band.
The unnamed member above had a wonderful twist to his mustache, beautifully tousled curls and one of the best man bags ever! He wore Toms, ordered an omelet, lightly buttered his toast, and ate his hash browns with ketchup. Yum.
Given the day my bro and I had, I am happy to buy him beers. Especially when he gets the B.T. employee discount. Not a bad wager, not bad at all.
